The Marimekko 60th Anniversary Unikko Mug in white/green features the iconic poppy flower design, created by Maija Isola in 1964. This white stoneware mug is suitable for use in the dishwasher, oven, microwave, and freezer, and includes a special 60th anniversary stamp on the bottom. Marimekko's founder, Armi Ratia, believed that floral prints could not accurately depict the essence of real flowers, but Isola's Unikko design proved otherwise by capturing the essence of the flower in an abstract manner. Today, Unikko symbolizes joy and creativity in Marimekko's design.
