Eighty years of Moomin stories, distilled into a single unhurried image — Moominpappa, Moominmamma, and Moomintroll in a quiet family embrace, rendered in Tove Jansson's own confident, sketch-like line. No color, nothing extra — just the warmth of her original pencil work pressed into pale Finnish birch.
This tray from Muurla was created to mark the 80th anniversary of the Moomin stories, and it shows in every detail. Handmade in Finland from PEFC-certified birch veneer — sourced from responsibly managed forests — it's the kind of everyday object that quietly earns a permanent place on the table. Dishwasher safe, and genuinely giftable for any Moomin devotee.
