A reindeer cut clean through the face of a rounded-triangle sauna thermometer, so the silhouette reads as a dark shape against whatever wall it hangs on. The dial runs in Fahrenheit from 60 to 260 degrees. Solid heat-treated Finnish birch, roughly eight inches across, with a copper-toned bezel and a scorched border band framing the numbers. The heat treatment is what stabilizes the wood against the humidity a sauna throws at it. Made by Veico in Keuruu, central Finland — a good housewarming gift for anyone who has just finished building a sauna.
