Track how long you've been in the sauna room: flip it when you step in, and when the sand runs out it's time to cool off — a rinse, or a jump in the lake if you've got one. The scale is carved into the heat-treated poplar at 5, 10, and 15 minutes, on both sides of the glass, so you can read your progress at a glance from either direction. It hangs on the sauna or changing room wall, and makes a good gift for someone who's just put a sauna in.
