Punos is Finnish for braid. Deep olive and warm taupe blocks interlock at right angles, and short cream bars slip in at the joins, so the whole surface reads as strands crossing over and under one another. The mill's in-house design team drew it, and the jacquard loom builds it into the structure of the cloth — which is why the color blocks meet along crisp, unwavering edges rather than blurring.
