Maija Isola's Unikko poppies run the length of this scarf in blues, deep against light, finished at both ends with fringes and carrying the Marimekko label. At 79 inches long and 20 wide it is generous enough to wrap twice with ends left hanging, or to fall open across the shoulders as a shawl. The Marimekko Identtinen Unikko Scarf is woven from a blend that is 80% recycled wool, which keeps the warmth of new wool with a softer, slightly more textured hand. Brushing is recommended in place of washing. A serious winter layer that happens to be beautiful.
