Set out drinks on the deck under an aerial view of the Marquette Harbor Lighthouse, its red tower on the rock outcrop above Lake Superior with the beach curving north behind it. The Marquette Lighthouse Finnish Birch Wood Tray is made in Finland from birch, 10.5" by 7.75", with a gloss surface that holds the photograph's color. The lighthouse has stood on that point since 1853, four years after Marquette was founded, guiding the ore boats that built the Great Lakes iron trade. Marquette and the Upper Peninsula are home to generations of Finnish-American families, so a landmark from home belongs on a tray we designed and had made in Finland. Handwash only; not dishwasher or microwave safe. A keepsake for anyone who has walked out to that light.
