The polka dot chains of Maija Louekari's Räsymatto (Rag Rug) pattern were drawn by hand to echo the woven rows of a traditional Finnish rag mat, a fixture in homes and summer cottages for generations. Here they run in charcoal black across a natural linen ground. Printed in Finland onto a blend of recycled cotton, organic cotton and recycled linen and quilted over a soft polyester filling, the Marimekko Räsymatto Pot Holder shields hands from contact heat when you are lifting a lid or carrying a hot dish to the table.
