Unikko has been in continuous production since Maija Isola painted it in 1964 — not because it gets updated, but because it doesn't need to be. At hand towel scale, the oversized poppies fill the surface completely, petals pushing right to the edges in warm orange and pink, with barely a gap between them. It's a small object that makes a confident statement.

Woven from 65% organic cotton and 35% recycled cotton, with the recycled fibers drawn from textile waste within Marimekko's own production, it's built for daily use — soft, absorbent, and machine washable.
