Small squirrels gather acorns across this pot holder in Aino-Maija Metsola's Pieni Kurre print, a scaled-down telling of her Kurre (Squirrel) forest tale in warm brown and deep navy against soft light blue. Printed in Helsinki onto durable cotton with a padded polyester filling, it shields hands from contact heat when you are steadying a simmering lid or moving a cast iron pan. Vertical stitching divides the Marimekko Pieni Kurre Pot Holder into four sections so it bends and folds around whatever you are gripping, and a hanging loop at one end keeps it within reach.
