Shop all Sauna Accessories →Real pine tar gives this handmade Finnish bar its deep brown color and its smoky, resinous scent — the smell Finns grow up with, and one most Americans meet for the first time in a sauna. There's no added dye or fragrance in it; the tar does all of it. A little goes a long way, and the scent stays on skin after rinsing. Use it on hands and body, in the shower or after the heat. Made in Vaasa, where the company has been producing soap since 1886.

The Tar Soap is pungent and long lasting.
I was having a hard time finding a good pine tar soap like the Finnish ones I used to buy in Sweden and was super happy to find this at Touch of Finland. Kiitos todella paljon!
I leave one hanging from a hook in my closet, gives a nice aroma ot my clothing, maybe protects against moths too.

We stop in every month we can and he has been trying each of the pine tar soaps and this is by far his favorite. So much so that he bought 3 bars to get himself through the winter. It smells amazing and you won't need an air freshener in your bathroom or sauna entry as it is strong even without the steam.
