Five maple beads stacked in a single column, each about three-eighths of an inch, dropping a full three inches from a short silver chain — the Sara Earrings are long without being heavy, which is the trick wood makes possible and metal does not. The blush pink is dyed rather than painted, so it varies faintly from bead to bead and the grain stays visible beneath it.
