iittala Ultima Thule Beer Glass

iittala Ultima Thule reminds us of winter scenes in Finland. Inspired by the melting ice in Lapland, the iittala Ultima Thule Footed Cordial was designed by the Finnish design legend Tapio Wirkkala. Wirkkala originally created rigid yet smooth surface of Ultima Thule in the 1960s after carving into a graphic mold. The glass is weighted on the bottom and sits on three feet for an artful form. Ultima Thule is an exclusive design which reflects thousands of hours spent perfecting the glass-blowing technique required to produce the melting ice effect.
