Mouth-blown in Finland and designed by Tarmo Maaronen, this small glass bird offers a fresh take on the Finnish glass bird tradition. The semi-translucent glass catches natural light, adding a soft glow in natural light that brings it to life on a windowsill, shelf, or tabletop.
Each piece is individually made, with slight variations in color and tiny air bubbles from the glassmaking process. Its compact size makes it easy to place on its own or group with other Bianco Blu birds.

Lovely little glass bird - but smaller than I expected.
Please ask if what we order on line is a gift. Then you won’t have to put price stickers on the bottom. When I took them off, I had a hard time getting the glue off one. The other one was worse, taking the Bianca Blu sticker off with the price tag. I had a hard time cleaning and getting the sticker back on. Most of my orders are gifts & I would appreciate it if they could arrive without price stickers on them. Thank you so very much for considering my suggestion. Ellen
These little birds are beautiful and are a lovely addition to my collection of Finnish blown glass birds.
My daughter is going through a tough time so I sent her “The Blue Bird of Happiness “ so when she looks at the bird it will bring a smile to her face! She is a cheery little birdie and we both love the color blue,
I just love this tiny bird. The blue is particularly lovely and I really like the way the glass is made to look like feathers in the brown area. A really special piece!
