Two squirrels turn toward one another across this small rectangular plate, part of Aino-Maija Metsola's Kurre (Squirrel) print and her whimsical tales from the Nordic forest. Warm brown and black hues pop against a crisp off white backdrop, with light blue foliage scattered between. Ideally sized for bread and butter, a wedge of cheese, cookies alongside coffee, or stones and pits at the dinner table, the Marimekko Kurre Small Rectangular Plate is just as useful away from the table, holding keys, rings and other small jewelry on a dresser or entryway console. Made from durable white stoneware, it is microwave, oven, freezer and dishwasher safe.
