A compact, sculptural interpretation of the puffin, defined by strong contrast and a grounded form. The opaque black body is paired with soft white accents on the head and belly, while the translucent orange beak catches light and adds a subtle glow. Set on a round clear glass base, the piece feels stable while reflecting light underneath and around the form.
Mouth-blown in Finland at the Bianco Blu Studio in Fiskars and designed by Tarmo Maaronen, each bird carries slight variations and air bubbles from the making process. Sized for a shelf or windowsill, it adds presence without overwhelming the space.
