These graceful Swedish drop-shaped candles (called droppljus in Swedish) are made of pure stearin - the highest standard for Swedish candles. Stearin is not petroleum-based as paraffin. The burning quality with stearin is superior - with longer burning times and cleaner flames. The large candles have burn times for 12-13 hours, while the small candles have a burn time for 6-7 hours. Both sizes fit in standard taper candle holder.
