Onnekas Unikko is a watercolor reading of Maija Isola's poppy, the flowers rendered with soft, bleeding edges rather than the hard graphic outline the pattern is usually known for. Here they appear in black and grey, and they are jacquard knitted into the wool rather than printed onto it, so the pattern runs all the way through the cloth. The Marimekko Onnekas Unikko Scarf measures 79 inches long and 16 wide, with fringes at both ends, and is woven from a blend that is 80% recycled wool with polyamide. Long enough to wrap and knot over a coat.
