Wooden sauna thermometers are a must-have addition to any sauna room. Your sauna thermometer allows you to keep track of the room's temperature, allowing you to find your ideal sauna temperature, enhancing your experience. On average, Finnish saunas are heated to 180 degrees Fahrenheit, but some people like it much hotter.
Install the thermometer directly above your sauna heater, 6" below the ceiling.

They actually sent me the wrong one but it was similar enough that I kept it (not rating 3/5 for this reason). Nice quality but temp seems inaccurate. It is reading at temps close to 220-230F when my other thermometer reads around 190F.

We sincerely apologize for the mix-up in fulfilling your order and for the inconvenience caused by the issues you are facing with the thermometer that was sent.
To ensure an accurate comparison, please make sure to place both thermometers at the same height and location. It's important to note that temperature variations in a sauna can be substantial due to factors such as height and distance from the heater.
We would also kindly request that you take the new thermometer outside and compare its reading with the outside temperature, as the old thermometer may be providing inaccurate readings.
