Aarikka repeats one shape at three scales in the Iisa Earrings: a maple bead at the top, an open metal ring below it, and a second, larger bead suspended in the ring's center so it swings free as you move. Each earring drops 2.15 inches and weighs next to nothing, because the volume is wood rather than metal — the reason a pair this visually substantial never drags at the lobe.
