Slatted poplar, angled to hold your head and neck while you lie back on the bench. The wood is heat treated, which keeps it stable in humidity and slow to take on heat, so it won't feel hot against your skin. The open slats let water run through and air get underneath, so it dries between sessions instead of staying damp.
