This special Unikko mug is part of the 60th Anniversary Collection, made from white stoneware and showcasing the iconic poppy flower design in green, orange, and white. It is safe to use in the dishwasher, oven, microwave, and freezer, and includes a 60th anniversary stamp on the bottom.

Unikko, created by Maija Isola in 1964, is now a global print design icon. Marimekko's founder, Armi Ratia, believed it was impossible to accurately capture real flowers in print, so floral prints were not initially a part of the collections. However, Maija Isola's Unikko design changed that by abstracting the flower's essence rather than creating a realistic representation. Today, Unikko represents joy and creativity in Marimekko's design identity.
