Two of Aino-Maija Metsola's Nordic forest tales meet in a single set. One mug carries Kurre (Squirrel), where a bushy-tailed forager gathers nuts among leaves and branches; the other carries Ketunmarja (Fox's Berry), where a fox moves through spruce sprigs and scattered berries. Both prints wrap the full circumference of the mug and are lifted with golden metallic pigment that catches the light against a crisp white backdrop. Each of the Marimekko Kurre & Ketunmarja Mugs holds 8.5 ounces and is made from durable white stoneware. Because of the gold detailing, hand washing is recommended and the mugs should not be used in the microwave. The set arrives in a Marimekko logo-pattern gift box, ready for a wedding, housewarming or anniversary.
