The Marimekko Räsymatto Mug is white stoneware that moves easily between the oven, microwave, freezer and dishwasher, with the pattern carrying from base to rim and the handle and interior left white. Räsymatto is named for the traditional rag rug found on the floor of Finnish homes and summer cottages, woven in tight rows from old cloth cut into strips. Maija Louekari took inspiration from those rows in 2009 and opened them into soft-edged dots, off-white here against a clear rose-pink ground. The mug stands 3.75 inches tall with a 3.15-inch rim.
