The Marttiini Lynx 129 carries the same blade profile developed by founder Janne Marttiini in the 1930s that has made the Lynx series one of Finland's most enduring knife designs. The slightly upturned tip is the lynx blade's defining characteristic, making it an excellent reliable tool for wilderness trips — well suited for camp tasks, food prep, and general outdoor cutting.
The 4.33-inch stainless steel blade is built for low-maintenance reliability. This steel resists corrosion and resharpens easily, keeping the blade ready for use without demanding careful upkeep.
The handle is varnished Finnish birch — smooth, lightweight, and clean in the hand. The varnish seals the wood against moisture, and the natural pale tone of the birch gives the 129 a simple, unfussy character that wears well over time.
The natural tan leather sheath is hand-stitched and set with steel rivets, carrying an embossed hunting scene on its face — a reflection of Marttiini's deep northern roots. A straightforward, reliable Finnish outdoor knife built on one of the most trusted blade designs in Finland.
