Painterly summer flowers drift across the fabric in soft washes of color. The Kukkapelto pattern was created by Minna Niskakangas after evenings spent cycling past Helsinki flower plantings — cornflowers, flax, and sunflowers translated directly into loose acrylic brushwork that keeps the design airy rather than busy.
Made from cotton, the cover works as an easy seasonal update for sofas, reading chairs, or cottage beds. The 45 × 45 cm size pairs best with a slightly fuller insert to give the cushion a structured, filled-out shape.
