The Marttiini Lynx 134 carries one of Finnish knife making's most enduring blade profiles — the lynx blade, developed by founder Janne Marttiini in the 1930s. The slightly upturned tip is the lynx blade's defining characteristic, making it an excellent reliable tool for wilderness trips.
The 4.33-inch stainless steel blade is built for low-maintenance reliability. This steel resists corrosion and resharpens easily, making it practical for everyday outdoor tasks without demanding careful upkeep.
The handle is waxed Finnish curly birch paired with a cast bronze finger guard that has a textured, organic quality to it. The wax treatment protects the birch against moisture while preserving the warmth of the natural grain. As with all curly birch handles, no two are alike — the swirling pattern of the wood ensures each knife is its own. The finger guard provides a secure, controlled grip and adds a refined detail to an already handsome knife.
The dark brown leather sheath is built for belt carry and wears well over time — practical on the trail and handsome enough off it. A strong everyday outdoor knife with enough character to make it worth passing on.
